To Walk with Shadow (Poem)

TO WALK WITH SHADOW
In the deep of night
always shunning the light
I walk alone
like the grayest of stone
In the shadows so deep
while most others sleep
No one can see
what it is to be me
Am I evil throughout?
Can you even doubt?
What else walks the night?
Maybe those who would fight
So judge not my shadowy core
or my weapons covered in gore
for I battle the evil within
and can call no man my kin
Dedicated to my friend Shadow and the character he helped inspire me to create in my fantasy world, the Webbed Worlds
In the deep of night
always shunning the light
I walk alone
like the grayest of stone
In the shadows so deep
while most others sleep
No one can see
what it is to be me
Am I evil throughout?
Can you even doubt?
What else walks the night?
Maybe those who would fight
So judge not my shadowy core
or my weapons covered in gore
for I battle the evil within
and can call no man my kin
Dedicated to my friend Shadow and the character he helped inspire me to create in my fantasy world, the Webbed Worlds
