If you look at my 'post count' on the upper left under my avatar [picture..whatever], it should read about 3589 by now [unless I've posted again lots today, or you're reading this in the future].

Is there any way - any way at all - of i) seeing the list of all these posts [in order or otherwise] and ii) [much more unlikely] of seeing the actual posts themselves pulled together so they can be read in chronological order without keeping having to jump from thread to thread. I know this is unlikely but just thought I'd ask anyway.

I seem to remember that if you click the 'see all my posts' button [or whatever it is called] it pulls up a list of the threads you have posted in rather than a listing of individual posts. Is this as good as it gets [mind you - I'm appreciative enough of that in itself!].

[On reflection this question is a bit silly, but take it as down to how little I know about compooters. Still - think I'll leave it in anyway just incase someone can give me a bit of a tutorial as to what I can and can't do in this respect.]

It doesn't work for people with very high post counts, because search is broken.

Only goes up to 7,500 IIRC.

Uh, yes. Go to the last page of either Announcements or Gen Disc or the Chrons at look at the bottom. It's in there somewhere.

A whole bunch of posts got set to Jan 1st 1970, though, right? So it'd be hard to work out the actual first.

BTW, in Search you can put your name in as author and find all posts. (Be sure to switch from Topics to Posts.) Which is just like the link in Profile. Except you can refine your search to a forum, or you can search for posts containing words, etc. This can be helpful.

Yes, good point WF. If you filter by forum, you can get around the 7,500 limit, unless they have more than that number of posts in the actual forum.

(Also note, IIRC, the limit goes backwards, so you will see their first 7,500 posts, not their most recent ones.)
