Recruiting for new band...

Okay so I'm considering a career change and have thus just started putting together a new band.

Unusually, and after a truly rigorous selection process, I'm going to go with three lead guitarists, namely:-

this one, who also did this and for that matter this as well

and

this one, who also gave this a go, plus then delivered this.

and (in for a penny, in for a pound),

this one as well, who further impressed me with this.

So, given that I've got three lead guitars, I've decided to balance this out with two hand-picked bass players, to wit:-

this one here

and

this one here too.

And the rhythm section, I hear you ask? Well:-

here's my exhaustively auditioned drummer.

And finally, to cap it all, I've now very carefully chosen a lead singer with the right qualities (who also just so happens to be able to play acoustic guitar):-

partly because of this and partly because of this.

I take it I can count on you guys' support when it comes to my releasing tickets for their first gig? Only $1,000 a pop. Form an orderly line...

 :rockband: :R

Ya got me.

My wife really appreciated this post, btw. She's a newbie, but I think it's awesome that she has decided to pick up the guitar in her 40s. Women are underrepresented in rock music, especially as instrumentalists. Too many people only want to see them sing and cavort about on stage looking pretty. It's good to see them rocking out.

Heh...
The only problem is...
neither they nor us need you.

Back to the "collecting underpants" plan for you.
;)

Damn. Collecting the band's underwear for subsequent sale. That was my follow-up merchandising plan. I suspect industrial espionage...

Not picked for the same reasons (this girl is only 14), but look how effortlessly she plays this:

I believe she started out as a classical player
