You could argue this was only Covenant's imaginings. But it shares a consistency with other descriptions.

Didn't Donaldson give a description in a Q&A? He said he pictured it as countless acid skest burrowing through the Land Earthpower everywhere at once.

Also, what's the context of the first description?

The context of the TPTP quote was Foul and Covenant's final battle. At one point Foul uses illusions to cause Covenant despair.

The Q&A quote is back on page 1 of this thread. And it was skurj, not skest. :wink:
