Legend of the Red Reaper

I was very entertained by this film which looked as if it were made by an RPG league, only someone had mad computer skills and money to buy a few minutes on a helicopter. If you were hot or had good biceps, you got a few minutes' extra screen time. The costumes looked like every Shakespearean guild's closets had been raided, or if you showed up in something with lacing or leather, they let you in.
One or two scenes try your patience as they drag out too long, or strange camera work is employed, or too much cheap shots of magnificent scenery to give you that grand, epic feel.
It wasn't a bad plot and some of the actors were pretty good. The main character (Aella the Red Reaper, played by Tara Cardinal who was also the Producer) spent much of the film running madly through the woods looking for something to kill, or having blades stuck in her over and over again. Still, I do love a good C film once in a while just because they really did try so very hard.
