I thought they both sucked.Matrixman wrote:Well, Lord Revan, I saw only a small number of films in 2003, but of them, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle was probably the worst. It was a dull sequel to a fun original movie. (I know I'm one of the minority who enjoyed the first film.)
I thought Matrix Revolutions was amazing.Matrixman wrote:I also have severe issues with Matrix Revolutions, but I'm not ready to write it off just yet. I should watch it one more time to sort out my feelings about it. This film should belong more in the "most disappointing movie" thread, come to think of it.
I thought the whole film was amazing... My favourite types of films are ones that, indeed, as you say, challenge my mind.Matrixman wrote:Matrix Revolutions was certainly amazing in terms of production value. And it challenged my mind. Any film that can do that has merit to me. I sometimes think that a film that is able to provoke very strong reactions from me--either love or hate--must be revealing some aspect of me that I don't normally think about or wasn't even aware of. After all, isn't it a function of art to be a mirror, reflecting the viewer back onto himself to enable self-discovery? Maybe I'm just trying to rationalize my dislike of Matrix Revolutions. Who knows? Maybe I'm just late in coming around to appreciate it. I do not doubt its significance.
I concur.Lord Foul wrote:From Justin to Kelly is the worst film of 2003. Gigli is the second worst. That is not debatable. Thank you.
