Matrixman wrote:Well, Lord Revan, I saw only a small number of films in 2003, but of them, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle was probably the worst. It was a dull sequel to a fun original movie. (I know I'm one of the minority who enjoyed the first film.)
I thought they both sucked.

Very attractive girls though... So I'm not complaining...

I thought Matrix Revolutions was amazing. :D

From Justin to Kelly is the worst film of 2003. Gigli is the second worst. That is not debatable. Thank you.

Also, if you want to see just how bad Justin to Kelly is, look at this list:

Matrixman wrote:Matrix Revolutions was certainly amazing in terms of production value. And it challenged my mind. Any film that can do that has merit to me. I sometimes think that a film that is able to provoke very strong reactions from me--either love or hate--must be revealing some aspect of me that I don't normally think about or wasn't even aware of. After all, isn't it a function of art to be a mirror, reflecting the viewer back onto himself to enable self-discovery? Maybe I'm just trying to rationalize my dislike of Matrix Revolutions. Who knows? Maybe I'm just late in coming around to appreciate it. I do not doubt its significance. :D
I thought the whole film was amazing... My favourite types of films are ones that, indeed, as you say, challenge my mind.

I haven't seen Gigli, or From Justin to Kelly, but I have seen House of a Thousand Corpses and can say, without a doubt, that it sucked. It wasn't even entertaining in the way most bad slasher/horror movies are. At least with a bad horror movie, you can usually get a good chuckle at the ludicrous story or lame acting. HOATC was so bad, I couldn't even laugh at its suckiness. Definitely my pick for 2003's bottom of the heap.
