Questions RE this subforum
I have a few questions to start out with:
What games will people talk about here?
Do Sorus, Lucimay, and Creator play computer/console/mobile games that are not WoW?
DotA, ("Defense of the Ancients") perhaps?
Or is this perchance some evil plot created by Jay to frustrate them?
And lastly:
What codewords will be used in this subforum to refer to the aforementioned game which it is known that Sorus, Lucimay, and Creator all play?

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

As to the codeword, perhaps by their release names - since Jay has prohibited the three letter "w" word!
As to your other questions, to tell the truth the speed of this forum being established surprised me, so Sorus, Lucimay, others, and I will chat - and get back on all of your other questions above!

I thought I sensed Avatar's hand here, but apparently it was Jay.Linna Heartlistener wrote: Or is this perchance some evil plot created by Jay to frustrate them?
That is an excellent idea.Creator wrote:As to the codeword, perhaps by their release names - since Jay has prohibited the three letter "w" word!
Let's see, if WoW can't be discussed here, perhaps we can phrase things in ways that slip under the radar.
For example, Creator, Lucimay, and I all play Warlords of Draenor.
Can we talk about that here?
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

In all seriousness, while this forum started as a joke, I am open to ideas for accomplishing the following:
1) Doing some light restructuring of the gaming forums (perhaps a main gaming forum with a couple of sub-forums). Update the current Gaming forum to meet the interests of our members. Maybe move some things around. Perhaps make Mallory a sub-forum of this.
2) Perhaps create an MMORPG sub-forum to allow for a place for all of those WoW nuts to talk without having them all squeezed in one topic (or invading other topics!).
3) Any other ideas that will help bring some life back to the Watch.
I'm open to ideas. To be continued... Watch the space!
