Just the occasional song. I hear the new album is a departure...

I like their old stuff better. The new album is too pop-ish. The mark tom and travis show wasn't bad.

Well, y'all r young--that xplains it!

(actually I think I did see something with Doug Flutie: QB 4 the San Diego Chargers playing drums w/them-I
think the song was called
Old Town, or something like it, and thought it was a cool song...)

Hey, I'm young but you don't see me listening to Blink. Hmm. I don't have anything else to say . . . Hubcaps.

I doubt it... because they said in an interview that they'd already started on their next album...

Hmmm... I don't think it's too popish at all... but I must concur and admit that a few of the songs are popish...

The new album is good - they've gotten better with each album since Travis joined, IMO.

Most people I think associate Blink 182 with doing stupid songs, because of the earlier albums.
The truth is, they've been taking their music far more seriously in the last two albums. They have said that the newest album is to them what they have always wanted to do with their music, but haven't managed before. Some of it does seem very different from their previous work, but IMO this is their best album yet.

I agree with everything you have said there Murrin... There music was good... but had no deeper meaning in their earlier albums... In this newest one... I think they do

To anyone who wants to understand what the new album is all about, all you need to do is listen to the Fallen Interlude. Okay, so the Blink 182 guys didn't do that one (they got some other guy in to do it), but it really shows how much their music has changed.
