As with much in life however (including, actually, life itself) it's quality rather than quantity that ultimately is the more significant thing. Do I understand that we fix on this postage number thing in order to qualify for inclusion in some list (or get some higher rating on it) that we feel will then draw more new members to our community?
Your politicians screwed you over and you are suprised by this?
....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....
'Have we not served you well'
'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'

I'm at 4810 for the start of the New Year.
We can start making up the slogans now. I want one that says:

I'd say that you're being a bit optimistic, Sorus. Our general postage rate has been dropping to closer to 1500 a month, which would give us something in the region of 18,000 next year. I think it would be great if we hit 990,000 before the end of next year, and then had an easy target for the 1,000,000 in 2017. There might even be another 'Fest that year and we could all wear the t-shirts!Sorus wrote:27,123 total for 2015. Only 21,391 short of a million. So, September or October?

Then please come to the next one.
You are a power-poster (well, except in comparison to those like Av or Sarge...neither of which are the vibe you are seeking), but meeting you in person would be an added bonus.

Afraid not. We just want to hit 1 million posts before we all die.peter wrote:Do I understand that we fix on this postage number thing in order to qualify for inclusion in some list (or get some higher rating on it) that we feel will then draw more new members to our community?
Sorry Deer...there's no easy way, unless you make a note of how many you had at the start of the period, then subtract.deer of the dawn wrote:How do you figure out how many posts you have done in a period of time? *sheepish*
(Technically I suppose you could search for all your posts, then count the ones whose post date was inside that period.)
