I added a little gallery feature to the forum. Click on the Album link at the top and upload at will :)

I figured we might even have a member photo gallery |V

For now, member art is probably the main purpose. I don't know where I'm going with it :)

When I went to album, the only picture I got was Furls Falls. All the others just said "No Thumbnails". Is that just my computer?

Re: Illearth War II - you really need to stop posting pictures of me!

No seriously - I never pictured Elena looking quite like that! I always pictured her with more clothes! Wasn't a blue Lord's robe mentioned in the book. If not, no wonder Hile Troy was in love with her!

Thanks Vain! Excellent pics of the different coverart. I agree caamora, I always imagined the Lords dressing rather plain in ankle length robes with very little or no ornament. It suited them perfectly. Never imagined Elena running around in g-string swimsuit. lol ;)

That's supposed to be Elena? And here I was thinking - for unknown reasons - that it may have been The First.

Vain - I just assumed it was Elena because the caption was "The Illearth War". Now if it had said "The One Tree" then I would have named her the First.

Certainly is an eye-opener :) I think the system only allows .jpg, .gif and .png files to be uploaded danlo. What error were you getting?

caamora - I took one look at that big sword and that's what made me think it was The First. I only noticed the skimpy clothing once you guys pointed it out to me :D

that's supposed to be elena? Can someone please find me a quote from the book describing her to look like that? Why would she have a sword, and not the staff of law??

Cool pics Ur-Vile. The one for Drool Rockworm is really interesting not exactly how I pictured him but grotesque nonetheless.

If anybody cannot see the pictures - there are two galleries. Alongside the "Select Categotry" text, there is a selection which allows you to select Art Gallery and Member Galleries. Selecting Member Galleries will enable you to see Ur-Vile's images.

Indeed, excellent pics. I particularly like the Andelain one.

That picture of Drool is pretty much how I imagine him, but with paler skin, and a more normal-shaped head. The rest of the body almost exactly matches my mental image.

I agree, the Andelain pic is fab.

Hmm, Illearth War II -- Elena as drawn by Boris Vallejo? 8O

Glad everyone likes the piccies! I got the Drool one from a book called Barlowe's Guide to Fantasy. Has entries of 'famous' fantasy characters and creatures. I doubt if anyone will be able to find it - it is pretty rare.
