Ok peops it's ON! Lorin, Aliantha and Ussusumiel are renting a house in ABQ for the month of October. We are looking at an E'Fest for that month. Chime in, speak up and join the madness of it all...

Its Balloon fest time so I am hoping for the time when that fest is happening. I will stay on after the fest to give NM a test run. I am going to try to find a big house so many can use it and save money.

Afraid may have to pass this time. Plans to visit Japan, and Fuzzpaws stomping over to Gianthome coinciding with the fest-timing.

What happened to the notion about an eurofest, though? London/Copenhagen/Vienna, etc. remain within a relatively easy reach for a weekend trip, and that might be a chance to meet some of those Old World fans that have been unable to journey all the way to the realm of stars and stripes.

I like the idea of an Ockobere'fest, KW peeps and beer all in one excellent package. Trust Jenn to nail it!

It should be good alright, and the temperatures may be a bit more human in October.

I can't even think of planning anything that far ahead. As of now, it seems highly unlikely that I'd be able to attend. The vet bills I racked up over the holidays are going to haunt me for most of this year unless I get a second job or sell a kidney. (The second option sounds a lot more appealing right now.)

Sell the cats' kidneys. Two birds, one stone, as they say.

Admittedly I did not specify that it would be mine, and that may or may not have been intentional.

(There's one way to get myself removed from the invitation list.)

Still, I don't think hers would fetch as much on the black market, and it seems counterproductive after everything I spent on getting her healthy again.

Count me as interested, pending official dates, which I need ASAP.

I believe Lorin was thinking during Balloonfest but keep in mind that hotels and rental cars are at a premium price during that week so unless we are more about Balloonfest than E'fest Oktoberfest, we might want to pick a different week. I'll let you guys figure it out.

Yes U there will be beer and watchers and definitely good food and great fun. There may even be pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. Cord Hurn should really join us, we all know how much he loves those things....
