Race of the Badger
The Badger’s uncle lived in peace far from city’s cloud.
His weekly travel filled his chest with feelings strong and proud.
The uncle kept his life and home as simple as he could.
Save for one indulgence that the Badger knew was good.
Beneath a tattered tarp there sat a shining metal car.
The uncle kept it hidden from the city’s motor law.
The Badger leapt behind the wheel with glee upon his face.
The engine sprang to life as Badger waited for the race.
Badger, Badger watch the skies.
Keep from City’s site.
They will come with fire and force.
The law of might makes right.
Sorry about the Neil.
