Bronze Age droppings lie and sprawl and huddle everywhere. During last Saturday's wee ickle hike alone, I came across four piles. Although these people really ought to clean their shoes after climbing upon that turd.
I'm not familiar with the animal that left these behind; I can only surmise it became extinct sometime during the post-Viking ages. Something in the texture of the pellets must prevent decomposing as time has not altered them during the millennia.
