29450. ★★★ Top 0.23%. "You are Shakespeare! You can even create new words that will expand the English dictionary."

Clearly an unctuous test.

30,150. When I was a kid, I would pore over the dictionary for hours. Words fascinated me and still do. "How forceful are right words" (Job 6:25)

I did this the other day when it came up on Twitter. 30,325. Had to guess a few of the later ones.

29975. But it's higher if you include made-up words!

Same for me. There was only one I guessed at -- avulse, or something.

I had to guess on that one too, but it bugs me more that I must have missed at least one other and I don't know which.

Being able to run your mouth isn't everything. :P

I also had to guess "avulse", I don't recall ever seeing that word. It helps to know Latin and Greek root words.

Nope. Twice the screen jumped, because an ad was popping up, as my finger was descending on the button, so I hit the wrong word. Not playing this game.

30207. Confirmation bias says this a great test. Thanks, Av!
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

LOL, surprised it's still up and running. :D

And that I seem to have posted my original score as either a hosted screenshot, or using their "share" option, with the result that it is no longer visible. :D I suppose I shall have to re-take it. :D
