set aside, working it again.

Set my jaw to the side. Pursuing new forms, new symbols
and new patterns. False symbols will attract people,
but will not rust.
I have seven pencils to write this book.
I have seven more to finish this work.
Some people talk too much, some people have nothing to say.
People can be separated into three groups.
Race Horses
Plow Horses
Soap Horses
Of course horses love sugar. I keep a few cubes in pocket.
Out of pocket expenses. This will be submitted.
I heard that song today. Transmission received.
I love that song. I think it is about magnesium.
Maybe it is about copper mines.
The county keeps spools of copper stored
in the county storage sheds.
Radiator. Ventilator. Tarnishing sets in,
so the varnishing can begin.
Shutters set to be shuttered.
Be honest, be truthful, never lie.
Left is fire. Right is safe.
Why is that so hard to remember?
I found a way. Constructed my construction.
The project is under way.
I have not seen you since graduation.
You likely do not remember me. Six houses down.
I know your brother. I know you may not remember him.
I am hoping to correct that.
You may not remember that
this is not my first letter to you.
The postman is tired of me pestering him.
I created a numbering system
for remembering all of this.
But I lost the codex somewhere. Or sometime.
I would rather find a differing power source.
Too unstable, kept under a corner table.
I was warned. Need to buy more wiring.
The corner store is closed. It gets too dark, too soon.
Please enclose your new address
with your forwarded letter. Or by post.
Stayed a letter of protest. I expect a package.
The distribution caps to save place
and to save space.
Please meet me under the pavilion.
Last day of summer, we can lay on the lawn.
You pick the year. Watch the clouds over the steeple,
open the door...
There is a clearing. The fence is down.
Snowfall fell by the river some early morning evening.
There is a clearing.
Please reply by letter box or carrier.
I do not have a phone. I am all alone.
I had a wife but could not keep her.
She tapped, tapped on my bridge.
There are essential salts.
Electricity runs through and echoes.
Scattered thunderstorms predicted this week.
I hope this letter finds you.
Well, time to fire the engines.
Wish me luck.
- Ted.
