Member's that haven't posted in years that you miss

Post by aTOMiC »

Its been a while since I've been a regular poster on the Watch and just recently have taken the time to explore some of the history of the board since I joined.

One thing that always gives me a pang of loss is when I re read the posts in an old thread and run across entries by members I haven't seen post in many years. It makes me wonder what has happened in their lives that has cause them to lose interest or perhaps it was circumstances that they couldn't control and are no longer able to post anywhere.

In any case there is one member I seem to miss the most. Every time I run across their avatar or see the name I remember the fun we had posting back and forth. Matrixman. I haven't a clue what has become of him but I wish him well wherever he is.

Of course I'm sure there are posters to the Watch that many of you wish would stop posting but that is a subject for another thread.

For any member that has been around as long as I have I am sure there is someone that no longer posts that you used to look forward to their input and responses.

I miss Ananda. She was sweet. Or was she on the White Council? There was a whole LOTR forum that died completely. Games were so active that cross-posting was very common. Now, nothing. I can't even go there anymore, it's too sad.

Ananda is fun. She tends to drift in and out of here - I wouldn't give up hope that she'll be back. Some of the others, it seems less likely at this point, but you never know.

dAN pops up occasionally in Flicks and other fora.

Kaydene is missed. Matrixman, definitely.

I really really miss lorin. She was such a big contributor then something just happened and she disappeared. I hope she comes back.

where is LURCH???? I am worried about him. I wish some admin would write him or give me his email address.

Well yeah...but all those others we don't know what happened and whether we'll ever see them again.

We know the answer to both those in Furls' case... :D

I've not been here nearly as long as many of you, but still some of the named strike a chord. I always liked Russ's posts ........but most of all I miss V. As erudite and compassionate a poster as ever there was.

You mean Vraith? Pretty sure he said he'd be back.

(And 7 years is a pretty respectable tenure y'know... :D )

BabyBottomFeeder doesn't seem to be on anyone's list? ;)

(Yes, Vraith Av. Hope he does look in now and again.)
