My New Material Question

Hi
I have a novel in draft not far off ready for publishing on Kindle (possibly). Just proofreading and spellchecking at the moment; taking a while to get through 180,000 words though. Is it possible to attach a chapter in say PDF for anyone who is interested in reading it? Or would I just cut and paste an extract of the chapter?
Would like to get some feedback; if it's dreadful then it's back to the drawing board or the trash basket.
Thanks in advance.

This is more of a Writer's Circle question. That being said, it depends on the length of the first chapter. You might not be able to fit it all in one post. If you could, people might not want to read it all in one shot. You could break it into pieces, or you could post it on Watpadd and link to it.

And, remember, writing is a skill. Don't worry if your first story is crap. That's called learning.

Thanks for the suggestions, Khaliban.

Decided to take the plunge and published the prologue on Wattpad today.

Never thought I'd do this, but He Who Dares Wins (that's for UK members who fondly remember Only Fools and Horses).

They say feedback is a gift that just keeps on giving. Let's see.

(BTW: If you don't get any feedback, don't get all grumpy about it because you expected you would. Critique = work, and work = time, and time = short supply.)

Fair point and good advice. I'll continue on with book two anyway. It's a labour of love and an itch I've been scratching for too many years.
