I'm close to finishing China Mieville's October: The Story of the Russian Revolution. Has anyone else in this forum read the book, or is anyone currently reading it?

Here's a short interview in which Mieville discusses the book.

Is it a nonfiction book? It's hard for me to think of him doing that, although my favorite authors are multigenre (C.S. Lewis for example, wrote children's, Science Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and academic texts). Sounds cool! It's probably not possible to write about Russia and have it be boring.
