Yeah that bites.... I was hoping to NOT have a drought of ST after SNW was over for the season. I saw someone say to take the time to watch "Lower decks" and "ST Prodigy". I did watch one season of Prodigy and was not impressed but I have been told I gave up too soon.

I haven’t tried either. I suppose I might. Not terribly motivated, though.

I enjoyed the first season of Lower Decks, then the innuendo started getting a bit much for my taste. I may try to plow through, though, if only to fully appreciate the SNW/LD crossover episode I’m hearing about.

If you have watched 30 seconds worth of lower decks, you should already be able to appreciate the crossover more than I did. And I really liked it.

Starts in a few days. Worse, my wife will be out of town for 10 days for an IT project in Norway, so she has sworn me to not watching until she gets back.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Discovery is one of my favorite Trek shows of all. Every season had been great.

All caught up through episode 3. Loving it so far.... I had already figured out that getting past the creatures was a test... I just hadn't figured out what the test was.. at least until they saw the Doctor again...

they could take the storyline as far as they want. They could make gigantic changes to the galaxy. Since it's set so far in the future, they could still write a million episodes about what happens between the usual time and where they are in the future.it would be nice if this really turned into something serious.

Sadly this is the end for Discovery. Thats a shame cause too many purists wouldn't get behind anything they consider not Canon. I think it was just finding its legs so to speak.
