I'm on Spotify?

About 6 years ago I recorded an album and registered it on Amazon.com
After some initial excitement I largely forgot about it.
Today my daughter was playing music on Spotify and shared with me some songs she thought I would like.
At some point she did a search on my name and up popped my entire album.
I am not complaining but no one asked me if it was ok to include my songs on the service.
I wonder what I would have to do if I were outraged?
Frankly I don't remember the details of my Amazon agreements its possible I gave permission without realizing it.
Just surprised by it all.

Do you get any money if you suddenly become super popular?

I have no idea. That's the truth.

Never used Spotify, but it looks like you're also on iTunes.

That I remember seeing a while ago.
I just found out my songs are on YouTube. What the hell?

Looks like that uploader has a bit of reputation, most of it bad.

I'm generally okay with it all. I just didn't remember being asked for permission for all those sites. It may have been an all inclusive deal with Amazon.
Now that I know they are there I've looked at as many stats as I can find and there's no need for me to quit my day job. I have as many new listens as Ahira's Hanger has new posts.
I guess I was supposed to be proactive in promoting the album back when it was registered but I was kind of depressed about being out of work then so it was all kind of "meh".

Heh. I was reluctant to include links because I'm not trying to promote the music, just discuss the circumstances.
Amazon lets you click on a free preview if you are curious what the album sounds like.

Then there's the itunes page that Sorus found.

Never too late. I listened to a couple of tracks. They were good. Is it all instrumental?

Yeah.
Its intended to be songs inspired by the planets, like Gustav Holsts symphonies.
So they have themes for what I thought fit.
I had an extra song that was kind of a downer and chose it to represent Theia the theoretical planet that supposedly impacted with the early Earth and eventually formed the moon.
I guess it's like "instrumental 80s/90s nerd rock"

Nice stuff. There is some great potential there, from what I could hear. Personally I would have arranged it a "bit" heavier, but it makes sense the way it is. Good job and thanks for sharing.

Was it just Planetary, or did they also get the Clear Frontier stuff, too?

Just Planetary.
I have never paid to submit any of the other songs.
Back in 2011 when I started all of this I considered doing the same thing with all of Follow Me but never followed through.

Mainly because you asked this question I went ahead and submitted Follow Me for digital distribution and what do you know it is now available on Spotify and Amazon. I expect it to show up on itunes any day now.
