I love this show... Do any of you feel the same way? Why do you like or dislike?

I have watched (more than once) every episode. Its a very bad day for me when I don't get at least 30 minutes of Simpsons time. Our local television station aires 3 episodes a day. I plan to purchase the first 3 seasons on dvd. You could say I like the Simpsons.

Blast you Revan! You are making me look bad.

I'm the ultimate Simpsons fan!!! ME!
Okay so I haven't forked out 40 bucks a pop to get the dvds yet. I will though. I guess its hard to justify the purchase when you've recorded about 30 vhs tapes worth of episdodes off of broadcast tv and watch them repeatedly. I plan to get season 3 first. In my mind, that is the point where the show really became comfortable with itself. The animation improved dramaticly. The voice acting settled into its familar personalities and with the addition of Conan Obrien, the storytelling truly excelled.

I completely agree with you there Clear... Season three is the best out of the first three because it comes into it's own.

I used to really love this show... still do I guess. But the ones from 2 or 3 seasons ago were a lot better.

Even I have to admit that the Simpsons episode quality had dipped a bit the last couple of seasons. I think they have made a nice rebound so far this season. IMHO.

As long as I still look forward to every new episode, I'm fine with the show continuing.

Just a hunch but I say 2 more seasons max. That too will be a dark day. I've spent the last 15 years or so looking forward to sunday night for a new simpsons. It has to end but it will suck.

Last weeks episode was tremendous. Inspired. Classic. I haven't laughed at a single episode like that in a long time. Brilliant work. Man I love the Simpsons!
