Short Films on YouTube

Has anybody else taken time to watch some of the short films that highly skilled and original makers post on YouTube. Last year I got into them briefly and was stunned by the quality of work that these innovators were achieving, no doubt on very limited budgets.
I'm not going to recommend any here just yet - better I think if people just dive in and see what comes up - but hopefully if enough of us are interested, we could start compiling a guide as to what really should be seen from this ouvre. Short films are like short stories in literature; there is no room for dead wood in their making, and thus they demand an exceptionally tight placing of the elements from which they are built. Everything has to count and consequently they place very high demands on the skill of the makers. Hope there are others who already have, or will be sufficiently interested to take a (short) punt on some of the stuff out there, but whether you choose to comment or not, bear it in mind. There are worse ways of mooching through a rainy Sunday afternoon!
