Cool. :) (Got a link?)

(Should we move this to Gen SRD or something guys? I seem to remember a thread somewhere about collectors editions too maybe? Anybody else remember that?)

I poked around this website yesterday. I couldn't get a clear idea what -any- of their books look like from that site.

But I poked around the web and there were some pictures from other places.

Overall, they appear to be more or less similar to books you'd otherwise have, except maybe signed and a bit more well made.

They're not any kind of super luxurious completely redone leather-and-lace edition - not very much at all like the Easton Press version of Lord Foul's Bane, for example.

So I am on the fence. I wonder how much these will look similar to the Holt, Rinehart and Winston editions.

I think it might actually be nice if these hardbound books had the Darryl K Sweet covers. They would match my Second Chronicles more nicely.

Man, I'm too hard on my books to spend that much on them. :D And I have psychological problems with owning books that can't be read. :)

The Shannara book looks pretty good, except for the dust jacket...I hate those things. I tend to prefer softbacks anyway.

Yeah soft backs travel well ...

But hard bound are attractive .. Not only do I not have the $$ to purchase Squizzy books .. if I did I wouldnt.. I have psychological problem with blowing money on something that just looks good. Its my probably Scottish roots.. Im no a big spender. Im very money conscious, not obsessed lol 😂.. my life isnt about money .. but its about doing whats functional, reasonable and practical.

But were all different ... a friend of mine collects really expensive watches. Hes spent thousands on each of them .. that confounds all reason to me... I dont collect anything, perhaps my animals are a quasi collection .. but not to me.
