The very point that you are arguing against a woman choice is indicative of this position.

Further the fact that I noted that surely some middle ground may assist a more egalitarian position going forward .. and it was summarily dismissed as irrelevant .. also is indicative that you consider a womens autonomy irrelevant.

Do you have any other input to present that would indicate that you are in fact supportive of a womens right to control what happens to her own body?

I support a woman's right to her own body until another life is at issue. Especially since we have plenty of birth control at hand.

There's a whole thread here about ensuring that women have agency and how they should be able to make their own choices. Ending their child's life unilaterally is not a valid choice.

That has been my position on this issue from Day One. If people cannot be bothered to spend $30 for a box of condoms and a tube of spermicidal foam then they should not be engaging in sexual activity.

We still have a lot of abortions, Sarge, because far too many people are irresponsible. Sadly, we cannot enforce responsbility.

I imagine 100 years from now people look at abortion like we now look at slavery.

Ive mentioned many times before that I am not pro abortion, and would far prefer people to be responsible. Its called consequences .. and Ive always taken responsibility for mine

But as I said upthread .. I understand there are exceptions and I have zero support for militancy or militant one size fits all solutions. Why? Cuz they are inflexible and ineffective for the most part.

I did however like the article Wosa shared over the page that talked about taking a more collaborative and less adversarial approach to the issue of abortion.

Again its about that age old chestnut .. that sadly so few ever truly effectively master ..

Effects of both are permanent unless and until a counter-agent is deliberately sought out and ingested by whoever wants to either father or mother children.

That is also something I have been advocating for a long time--vasectomies are easy to get and don't have a long recovery time. I know this from direct personal epxerience.
