Having recently watched the excellent Jodie Comer portraying Villanelle, the psychopathic female assassin in Killing Eve and having just watched the equally excellent Ruth Wilson making a comeback as Alice Morgan, John Luther's equally conscience-free associate in Luther Series 5 (both MASSIVELY recommended, btw)...

What is it about female psychopaths that makes such compelling and irresistible TV?

I'm in the process of getting divorced from a female psychopath. Nothing irresistible or compelling about them at all!

Heh... you're probably right re predilections, though I doubt I stand alone there.

And hey, I never recommended marrying one. Mind you, dating one for a few weeks might well be a bit of a rush.

It's a bit like that stupid game, Screw, Marry, Avoid. One of those choices is a bad idea, one's a sensible idea and one might be a whole heap of fun.

Now that made me laugh... comedy gold and so overweeningly true with it.
