Though it's nothing like her actual description in the book, I especially like the Elena card.

Although I have some minor disagreement with most of them, I admire the work you put into it, and I think I would probably collect those cards if they were official. Maybe when SRD gets around to the 3rd Trilogy it might get more popular. Although, I somehow doubt it.

Very cool. I started doing something like that once, inspired by TC CCG sample cards on the main KW page. But these are better than mine!

Well I'm sure glad people are liking them.

(Not at all surprised that Elena's getting some attention. *nidge nudge*) I really love a lot of the Magic cards, and a few of the Yu-Gi-Oh, for the artwork, the sayings, and what the card is supposed to represent, but I don't know anything about playing these types of games. Never tried at all. So I don't know how to make cards that would work for real. I just thought these were cool ideas.
I also kinda picture these, and some others, as the "big" cards. A simple
Bloodguard card wouldn't be as powerful as Bannor, a generic
Lord card wouldn't be as powerful as Mhoram (Or, for example, Amatin, who would let the player solve riddles), and that kind of thing.

I've got a couple of packs of Magic cards, just because I think they're cool. I know how to play, I just don't have anyone to play with

And your cards make me laugh. Elena inverts everything - lol. You should submit them to Jay for inclusion on the main site

Fist and Faith, if you want, I could make some very nice print outs of those at no cost to you, well no cost except the ink, paper, wear n tear. Just tell me when you are done. I have an Epson 2200, so they will look as good as you've made them & be resistant to mild handling (which almost all other printers can't say). Basically, you could pour water over them. Just don't spray them with a cleaning agent!
This is a pretty good deal. The only other way to go is to laminate them, but then they won't have that Magic card feel and they'll slip all over each other like mudpit fighters in a dirty bar.
Hopefully you have some larger originals, but if not, that's okay too.

Very nice work, Fist. I used to play M:TG back in the day ('94-'99), but I got really tired of the consumer aspect, constantly changing rules, and stuff. I've played other CCGs: Lord of the Rings (the original from '95. never really got off the ground. still have The One Ring, though), Star Trek, Pokemon, and others. I would absolutely have to possess a full set (ok, two. one to collect and one to play) if they ever made a Chrons CCG.

All of these cost no mana to play? Woo! I like this expansion! I need to print myself out some of the TC cards...those might be useful...
God, I don't even remember the last time I played Magic...years ago...

Well, UrLord, I'm not sure how many tournaments would allow these cards to be used in a game.

they are cool fist .. i like your choice for Elena - Faith was as troubled as Elena .. and both kick-ass females!!
can I suggest something ..

.. i love them all .. how cool would it be to make a set you could play that had power values like in yu-gi-oh or pokemon ..
these dudes are cool but
though i have never liked that depiction of Foamy or even Bannor

Amok is brilliant .. Caerroil is perfect Mhoram brilliant and Baradakas excellent ..
as i said earlier just brilliant!! and i would love to own a "set" if you ever think of marketing them

I would have liked a different Foamfollower also, but what else would be recognizable to anyone here? Bannor is, of course, not as described in the books. But many of us here associate that pic with that name, neh?

So, again, it's recognizable.
Regarding Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, I wouldn't know what to do with them. I have almost 70 M:TG cards because I love the art and/or the card's name/concept. The other games' cards aren't, imo, nearly as pretty, although the names are sometimes great, and I have several YGO cards.
But if anyone wants to try their hand, here's where I made them:
