Narrator's " Humor"

First, a Thank You to Avatar for helping me access my original account! Thanks!
Second,,I think I pointed out the author's humor or " the Narrator's" humor discussion on his other works. There is some humorous Subjective Narrator in The Last Chrons and I believe there is some sneaky snarky stuff in TWW. I didn't write them down as I came across them so I'll be posting the ones I find easily. If you know or find something humorous besides a character actually telling a joke..feel free to post it here.
The story teller had some fun with Demure and Immure,Estie's younger sisters...The story teller goes from, " Of course, her sisters had been denied as well. That was no loss" snark to juvenile word play.. " It was fortunate that he had not kissed her hand as well. If he had, Demure and Immure might not have been able to contain their titters." a put down with a certain amount of compassion as well.
