Its that time again....American Football is here!!!

Falcons O line is revamped and the D looks like it might be top 10 this year. Could be a good season if the dreaded injury bug can stay away.

Sigh I wish both of you had been right about the Bears winning - boy they looked horrible - can't even manage a TD? Sigh..

The Bears D looked REALLY good but the offense that had been hyped up by the football pundits, looked horrible. The running game looked like it had legs but they kept abandoning the run for the passing game that was anemic at best.

Any team that plays the Bears needs to have a decent running game. Keep them on the field and wear them down through the first half or 3 quarters. Then score at will in the last part of the game to a totally juiced Defense. If the Bears D stays fresh, its a long day for offenses that play them this year.

Greenbay was no poster child of football either.

What a snoozer... I watched it through the end of the 3rd quarter and when I woke up and checked. Nothing had changed.

Dolphins suck.

Browns suck.

Steelers are rolling down Suck Hill and trying to find the brakes.

The Pats still don't suck. Sorry not sorry.

Panthers vs Bucs game on Thursday night was much better than I expected. Cam is not playing up to his potential. I dont know if he is being careful due to his off season surgery or if he has lost the heart to take it that level. Inexplicable was that last play for Carolina at 4th and less than a yard. That is the kind of play that most teams would just do a quick QB sneak. Get a new set of downs on the goal line and get a TD.

Not to take anything away from the Bucs who played hard in a hostile environment in pouring rain.

Falcons defense played incredibly well against the Eagles and they needed to. INT's on both sides. The decider was two gutsy plays (Eagles and Falcons both being gutsy on the same play) at the 2 minute warning. Falcons have the ball deep in their own side, 4th and 3 and they go for it. Eagles decide to leave no one in Safety and bring a full blitz with everyone. Falcons run a screen, Jake Mathews pancakes his guy, Sanu blocks his and Julio runs for the TD.

Saints and Steelers ended up with wounded QB's. Drew Brees might be out for a number of weeks with ligaments in his throwing thumb. Big Ben took a hit to the (elbow?) and might be out for the year.
