I enjoyed it but please let this be the last one.
The original (one of the greatest movies of all time) story was complete after the first movie ended.

Every movie after that has been visually enjoyable but the story just sucked.

Here are the stupid parts, to me anyway:
Spoiler
So there is no "Skynet" but an AI with another name went bad and did the exact same thing including the flying terminator things...
I think so anyway, it was never actually explained in the 20 seconds used to tell the backstory. I think we were supposed to assume?
Actually I can't even continue with the story part because it's so disappointing.
The action is well done though and Arnold does everything great as always.
The rest of the cast does a good job although I found no one to be really likable and wouldn't have cared if any had lived or died.

I liked the film even though it makes all the films after Judgement Day null and void. They cease to exist. A very brave route in a film franscise.

Skynet is no more... it is now Legion.

You can almost argue that where this movie departs from earlier movies was due to Terminator time travel changing the timelines.

What WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL was if Arnold was not the Terminator, but was the ordinary man who was chosen as the model for the Terminator 800 line, with some cool backstory explaining it.

Still, the whole movie was worth it for delivering more Hamilton.

I did enjoy John Conner being blasted by Arnie... finally.

Terminator: Nothing clean. Right.

Dark Fate's biggest flaw is that it recycled the same plot once again. Like The Force Awakens and Jurassic World. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
The terminator universe has some really interesting attributes that should be explored but for some reason the send a terminator back in time to kill the savior of the human resistance is a scenario that can't be left behind. Terminator Salvation came the closest to breaking away from the repetition but thanks to the sub par script and direction from Mcg the film was a flop.

Oh well.

I do quite enjoy seeing what they think of to make a new Terminator more powerful than before and how it is finally defeated but I hear what you are saying.

Dark Fate now out on DVD, watched it this afternoon and totally loved this film. It certainly redeems the not so excellant Genisys and Salvation,
now making the collection complete.

I liked how the Augment would lose face to the far superior Rev-9 Terminator, and it was the youngest of them all who stood her ground - "We make the kill box here!"
- hope that THESE MACHINES can also be terminated.
I also liked how the battery power unit was shaped like the big fat syringes the Augment used on herself. Something cool to look into next time around.
