Here's an anomaly: Split-threads don't return search hits.

EXAMPLE: I did a keyword search for "Abortion", with the parameters of Search topic title only and displaying the results as Topics.

The search returned this …





But did not return this …





I only got the "Change attitudes towards abortion? (Part 2)" search result by clicking the "View posts since last visit" function.

Tried the same experiment with a keyword search for "Immigration Reform" and got the same bizarre result.

Hmmm, weird, thanks Wos, will see if we can figure out why.

I've come up with a workaround.

By adding the appropriate keywords to the "Subject" box in, apparently, at least 1 post in a thread, those selfsame keywords become Searchable when doing a "Topic Title Only" search.

For example, I just added the keywords, "What will it take to change attitudes towards abortion?" to the "Post Subject" box by editing my last post on the "Change attitudes towards abortion? (Part 2)" thread …





… and voilà …





Not an ideal solution, of course. But it Gits-R-Done.
