I was just given the whole Chronicles in MP3 format.
I don't want to listen to it though!
I have my own pronunciation for things in the Chronicles.
I don't care if it's wrong or absolutely silly but it's been in my head for 35 years.
I can't do it.
:D

Hearing how they pronounced things (yeah, probably correctly , whatever) in the Tolkien movies was hard enough.
For instance, since I was 8 years old I put the emphasis on the dolf not the Gan.

I probably will eventually but hell......

You are an extremely lucky man!

I listened to the entire chronicles, end-to-end, while I was running. It only took me about a year! (Books take your mind off of exercise far more than tunes.)

Figure out how you want to work it into your life, and indulge.

Some people do audio-books by car, but I can't. I'm either not paying attention to the road or I'm not paying attention to the book.

Last thing: you haven't lived until you've heard Scott Brick's Stave voice.

Oh, you're making me want to listen to it now.....

I used to have a ridiculous daily commute to downtown Boston everyday for two years.
Going 5 miles an hour for an hour and a half allowed for safe listening. :D

My favorite was Dracula. It really read well with as audio.
Some books are clunky.
