Utopian Turtletop

Mr. Morning greets Karen as she
rambles in the brambles. a carnal
clown, a white noise supremacist.

like clockwork, hipsters with their
obsolete cameras collide in her
collusion. she's a gel pen daydream,
a locust sister nightmare. not there.

keep her in your Prius. her sulfur
wrist, a subtle twist. too tight her
teeth gnawing at placental roses.
apotheosis of a halogen smile.

sweating battery acid. summer
in Paris Green. winter in Prussian
Blue. no new deficiencies. as she
draws in society, lessons in parody.

rattled, tattered and torn. she will
grind your bones for powder or for
stone. a daisy in a field of weeds.
southbound and rundown. gunsel
a damsel, waiting to be canceled.

your title: made me click!
"Karen" in the first line: made me go "wut? this happened."
your words combos surprising me: fun.
like clockwork, hipsters with their
obsolete cameras collide in her
collusion. she's a gel pen daydream,
Imagined conversation:
Me: Admittedly, there's parts of the poem I like and don't want to admit b/c not necess. wholesome.
Sarge: What part of this poem was supposed to be WHOLESOME??

Enjoyed this juxtaposition:
Enjoyed the summer
in Paris Green. winter in Prussian
Blue.
and it was only on the 3rd glance through that I was even able to see the word "NOISE" in there.
people's minds = weird

The poem is modeled in a revised version of techniques that Ezra Pound used to create poetry. Rigel sent me a biography of Pound that helped me in this regard.
