I post this with some degree of hesitancy.

First I am not trying to subvert and make this Tank light forum.

I have always been fascinated by elections so my only intent is to have a thread showing results. Please notice I am making nor encouraging any commentary if results are good or bad or any such thing.

I also know that some (many?) of you don't give a hoot. That's fine - just don't click link and follow this thread then. That came across sounding rude not intended. Its just a subject that interests me but I get it if it doesn't interest you.

I will provide updates every so often for those that are interested.

According to MSNBC.com as of US eastern time 7:38:

Senate 48 Dem 47 GOP 5 states too close to call

House 215 Dem 220 GOP <<these are MSNBC predictions some races too close to call

Governors 21 Dem 24 GOP 5 states too close to call

Doc Oz lost to his opponent Fetterman ~ can’t help but think that’s a step in the right direction

i had to look up "GOP" not knowing what it meant - Grand Old Party!

Reminds me of Gladstone who was GOM "Grand Old Man" until (I think off the top of my head) the War in Sudan when he became MOG - "Murderer of Gordon". Something I've remembered from my school history lessons.

I haven't watched the telly in over a week - been busy listening to another Witcher book. Must catch up with these results.

For those that are curious I will provide updates until Monday morning. At that time I will look at details and decide how often to post from there, Probably once a week unless something interesting occurs.

Update 10AM:

Senate: Dem 48. GOP 49. 3 states too close to call. As mentioned up thread Georgia will be runoff election.

House: Dem 215. GOP 220. <<<MSNBC predictions some races too close to call.

Governor: Dem 22. GOP 24. 4 states too close to call.

So one article I read said instead of the expected red wave (GOP wave) it was more like a pink trickle. I thought that was pretty funny :D

Looks like the Democrats are keeping the Senate.

The House is still too close to call, but more likely Republican.

Update Monday 8AM:

Senate Dem 50. GOP 49 so as Fist and Faith mentions Dem retain control of Senate. Best GOP can hope for is VP Harris having to step as tie breaker if Walker wins Georgia runoff election.

House: Dem 216. GOP 219<<<<MSNBC predictions some races too close too call, I was going to provide more analysis here but still too many races too close to do that many analysis. Races still open in California, Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Oregon, New York, Alaska

Governor: Dem 23. GOP 25. 2 states too close to call in Arizona and Alaska. Arizona is likely going to switch to Dem the vote count is getting too biased to Dem for Lake to overcome but still too close. Alaska is not supposed to start counting absentee votes until tomorrow 11/15!! So your guess is as good as mine.

Will provdie another Update Wednesday probably around my lunch time.
