Quick point. Probably been made above, but when you search Kevin's Watch on Google (the way I come here every day), it takes you to a result that yeilds the old site.

If you were a random visitor who'd found it in a serendipitous manner, you would find a locked forum that you could not involve yourself in, and unless you happend upon Av's link to this site you'd never realise that there was still an active forum going on elsewhere.

Surely the new site should be uppermost as a result of searching the term Kevin's Watch? Have we any control over this?

Also, I can't get an avatar onto my profile. I go to the avatar page, choose a picture, touch it and then get a nice blue dot next to it.....

What then? There doesn't seem to be any way of getting the selected avatar onto your profile?

Am I forever condemned to be one of those little squarey things, like where a picture can't be shown? Well - I suppose there is even something to be said for even that degree of anonymity, of casting that small a shadow. After all, it's the message that's the important thing, not the messenger.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the gallery of pics, and hit "Submit".

Haha, after a while, the old site will be removed and the new one will show automatically. (The old link will redirect to the new one. We're just leaving the old one up for a while in case we need stuff from it.)

As for the avatar, once you get the blue dot, scroll down and look for something that says "submit" and click (tap) that. If you still don't come right, tell me which one you want and I'll apply it for you.

I usually get here from Donaldson's web site's "discussion" link. Its still pointing to the old address.

It is fixed… I’ve had no problems being auto logged out for 24hrs or more now!! yay!!

Very funny to me that phpBB3 is the shiny new board, since it's like, 15+ years old.

Are we planning to left-align the profiles, btw?

edit: As someone who habitually selects and unselects text while reading webpages, the "insert quote into quick reply" popup is very annoying.
