It’s a fun alternative history and has an excellent cast.
It’s loosely based on Philip K. Dick's novel of the same name, takes a look at what the world might look like had the outcome of World War II turned out differently.
It’s a dystopian ride, with the Axis (of evil ) powers having won the war, leading to the United States being divided into three parts, an area controlled by the Japanese, a Nazi-controlled section, and a buffer zone between the two.
Despite the overt oppression and strict regime controls, a new hope emerges when films turn up that seem to show a number of alternative realities. I still do not have my head around entirely how that works but it’s ever so good.
I like that the characters have the most interesting layers and ethical conflicts that each deal with as their individual personalities enable.
Anyone seen it ~ I am loving it and just started Season 2.
