We Have New Puppies!

I have been very busy.
We were given two new puppies from aa friend. A few weeks ago.
They are chihuahua and dachshund mix. So small dogs. About 8 weeks old. Go for their 2nd shots next week.
They are just getting to where they can sleep maybe 5 hours at a time. Up till now they got up every couple / few hours to pe. Very small bladders. Can't take them outside til their 3rd set of shots.
Not totally housebroken. Working on that. But we have them crate trained. They do like their crate and some times put themselves to bed when tired.
They are brothers and I named them after two brother rabbits in my favorite novel Watership Down. Hazel & Fiver. I was surprised when Julie agreed to two Lapine names. Now she has to read the book.
Fiver is the more rambunctious. Hazel can be but is more daddies boy. The one demanding to be picked up first to gall asleep on me before Fiver gets around to it and they both get put in the crate.
As you know we had Sonny for years and its been years since we had Sonny. Somebody will have to help me with posting pics.
They have learned to bark already. Although Fiver is the more vocal, true to form.
So that should explain where I've been.
