The reasons I asked Vain to create this new forum were manifold. The first was to spark interest in the Mordant's Need Group Reads, of course, and even though we only have 16 chapters, so far, it was very hard to keep them together in the discussion forum without blotting out the regular topics. We are going to be making a major push to restart the reads come Valentine's Day (see Group Read announcements). This forum may seem kinda small now, but with your help it can grow quickly. With increased membership at Kevin's Watch and, probably, a huge influx of new people once The Official SRD site is up and the Final Chronicles of Thomas Covenant begin release this fall, I assure you we will be glad we created this forum.

We're always looking for volunteers to lead chapters-please feel free to sign up here and I'll assign whatever's available to you as quickly as possible. If you have any questions about the Group Read...feel free to ask them here. Remember this is a serious analysis forum, like Dissecting the Land, so if you want to be start specific topics or just be silly about Mordant's Need, please do so in the discussion forum! Thanks!

I'm here. I have enough intelligence to try this, but my natural giftings are on the silly side, but I think I can control myself and attempt to actually help. Anyway, I can see how this could be of great help, especially when the new Covenant book generates new SRD readers.

Ok! Again the goal is to finish The Mirror of Her Dreams by Elohimfest (end of June). 2 more chapters are yet to be done. It won't be as hardcore a timetable as The Chronicles-IOW the dates won't be set in stone.

Secondly, I will be happy to take the mentioned chaps, and, if need be, could do the ones following those I have been assigned to....

At first I jumped at the "Master Eremis in Earnest", but then I remembered we're talking about the 1st book, not the second

Earthy! Thanks! Please welcome dANdeLION as co-mod here!!!!!Getting the MN Reads going and keeping them going is NOT an easy task! (especially when you've got Dissecting the Land going at the same time) So when dAN said he was willing to help I begged Jay to make him co-mod. Thanks in advance for your help man!
