Hi all!

I am new to this site. I think it is pretty cool. I am a big fan of SRD and The Land in particular. One thing I have always wanted to do is make a much more detailed map of The Land than any previously seen. What I need is a list of all references from the books on distances and locations. With any references given, please include the book and chapter where it was found. I will post the map here when complete. It will be a full color map with excellant graphics (most likely using terrain graphics from Civilization III's map editor).

Thanks for any and all help!

great idea; I will gather what I can and post it; maybe you could also post the work-in-progress, not only the finished map?

FYI, Karen Wynn Fonstad made a map of the land a few years back - you might find a copy on Amazon.

I appreciate any and all help on this!

Once I get the map to the point of where there is more info on it than the usual maps, I will post it in progress here.

Vain... sorry, but for now it will be 2D only, although it will have a 3D appearance to the graphics... kind of a 3/4, isometric view.

May the Earthpower be with you!

The best source of information about the land is in a book called "The Atlas of the Land" by Karen Fonstad. There is one for sale on amazon.com (as of 2:00pm CST, Nov-8-2002):

www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/ ... ce&s=books

You can pick it up for about $12.80.

thanks Ur Dead :) ive been looking for land art and everything points to Kevins watch or antgear. im surprised to be the first to create a more detailed map or at least to everyones knowledge here so far besides antgears rendition..the Atlas and also maps from the books.

I hope some of the artists come back and start creating.

I think i like these books so much because besides them being great books they were my first set of books with a page count larger than 100 :D my real introduction to reading.
