What's the old saying? :? Fixit and forget it? :? Well no Fixit so I'll try to come up with a new question (dang wish I had the books with me...) Well some of this has been asked before but I'll make it into a 3 part Q:

1. What was the name of the planet Darsint and his men were fighting on?
2. What was the name of their ship?
3. What were they trying to establish on said planet?
fall far and well Pilots!

A little out of date, but I'll guess these off the top of my head...

1. What was the name of the planet Darsint and his men were fighting on?
Pythos
2. What was the name of their ship?
Scourge
3. What were they trying to establish on said planet?
Outpost

I'm probably wrong. (I haven't read the books since long before my move in October, and they're still packed...)

P.S. One of the answers to a prior question was wrong (or at least incomplete), I think.

Didn't Havelock kill Vagel with his feather duster? (I think it was the handle sticking out of his chest, not just any old piece of wood) Again, my copy of the books are in storage, so I may be wrong...

Another wrong answer, actually, it is even a wrong question, regarding the comparison of Terisa and Myste.

Again from memory: King Joyse originally suggests Elega for the wardrobe assistance, then corrects to Myste as they are "more of a size". However, as they are walking to the room Saddith points out that while that is true, Myste "has not some of your advantages" (emphasis added). This is emphasized later when she is trying on the clothes and they are a little tight about the chest.

Well, glad this thread has moved on from those questions, they've been bugging me for agaes, whenever I see them, but by the time I get home, I've forgotten to check for the answers.

However, aren't you supposed to now put your own question in once you've answered?

I thought I had to wait for someone to confirm whether I was right! (I'm still new at this forum.) :? Of course, that doesn't look like it stopped anyone else!

OK, here goes (again, the books are buried, so my spelling might be off...) - Who is Worren?

 You're probably right. Danlo should come along and mark your answers. Not that it matters as you say, others don't seem to have worried. Unfortunately, I'm no better off. I still don't know the answer off hand. ;)

Ding! You are correct, Myste! I said it was a trick question! ;) If I had asked "What is" it would have given it away!

Woohoo! :letsparty:

Hmmm. Okay. Here's a question about an image that's always stuck with me from the descriptions of Terisa's pre-Mordant life.

Terisa compares the young men her father sets her up with to a kind of fish. What fish is it?

Thanks, Danlo. Actually, the first time I read the story, I thought maybe Pythos was an explitive in Darsint's language. Of course, from the context, it still could be, and not the name of the planet at all! 8O

Purely a guess, but for some reason, I want to say "Mackerel".

Nope, not blowfish. And while I can't blame you for wanting to say "Mackerel," Av--it's a fun word to say! ;)--you're wrong, too.

Think predators, guys.

Bigger than piranhas, smaller than many sharks. It is also a Plymouth.
