Great question, Sanity! I recall it involves never telling somebody about what it's like to see the ghouls feed and die.

Cool! 8)
I think Geraden stated that he would never tell Quiss about what it was like seeing the ghouls feed and die--now matter how long he lives and how many opportunities he might have to tell her about it!

That is correct. The horror was bad enough, but it was especially because they had the aspect of children that he could never bear to mention it to her.

Your question.

Thank you, IrrationalSanity! :yeehaa: :yeehaa: :yeehaa:

Next question:

What did Eremis see in his flat mirror that made him grip the edges of its frame and say, "Excrement of a pig! That is impossible. You doddering old fool, that is impossible"?

The thing that so shocked Eremis was the death of his pet worm (aka the giant slug beast, which I fantasize was a translated Nicor from the Covenant universe...).

Yes!!! Well done! I don't know about Eremis' slug-beast being a translated Nicor, IrrationalSanity, but I suppose it's possible that at least one of the magical mirrors of Mordant could have been focused on a place in the Land's world, so could be... ;) :)

You have answered the question correctly, Sanity, and so now you are in charge of the Mordant's Need Trivia question! :Hail: :Hail: :Hail: :Hail: :king: :7up:

As I said, that part is just fantasy/conjecture, but the description could very well align, as well as its overall power level.

For my question, I'll lob what should be a softball...

How did the slug beast die? More detail is better. :)

The Congery's champion Darsint determined to walk toward the slug beast, and after getting pelting with rocks and stumbling stubbornly forward, comes to the front of the slug beast and rockets launches himself into its mouth and down its throat! :screwy:

And then once inside the ol' slug-beast's hide
Our champion isn't idle with slime-slug's vitals
Goin' psychopathic as digestive traffic
To finally realize that mad monster's demise!!! :faint:

I'm pretty sure it was Artagel. Was going to say more, but I'm also saving that commentary as a follow-up question, should I actually be right... :)

ARTAGEL is the answer, IrrationalSanity! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Good thing you saved the commentary, I think, because it is now your MN trivia question. Congratulations! 8)

Thanks!

OK, so the follow-up is, when Terisa was asking Gereden what the sigil was about, Gereden mentioned that Artagel was the best swordsman in Mordant. What did she think to herself regarding that statement?

I don't remember the exact thought - but it was something along the line then why is Artagel bested by Gart seemingly easily? Or something like while they may be true for Mordant he is i no match for Gart. Something like that....
Not every person is going to understand you and that's okay. They have a right to their opinion and you have every right to ignore it.

I was hoping for something closer to the actual quote, but I'll give it to you because the gist is correct. They weren't sure it was Gart at the time, so her thought was that while Artagel may be the best swordsman in Mordant, "the man in black was better".

Your Question!
