Which of these three men do you think is the most evil?
What does he do to make him worse than the other two?
Do you think that they might be the three riders in Terisa's dream?

Gilbert without a doubt--Eremis is evil but Gilbur is sick/evil...

I also said Gilbur...and the very sick thing that he does, he does all on his own, with no imagery involved.
Do you think they were already bad people, and would have been no matter what? Or do you think the immense power they gained due to imagery made them worse than what they might have otherwise been?

Something bad?! heh. Knowing Stephen Donaldson, it's gotta be a rape.

I always saw Gilbur as being evil because of his accident, almost insane. Eremis was evil, and he used Vagel's desire to free himself from Gart, and Gilbur's insanity, and many other things, for his own benefit.
Sum sui generis

Thanks for the spoiler VS.

Keep 'em coming.
Heh, I haven't read the second book yet... So don't know what's happening...
But I know there is rape... as there always is when it comes to SRD... heh... And Danlo, while I was reading the Reed Stephens novels, and complaining about the rape in all the books he has written, said there is rape in these books also. heh. So... tell tell... who gets raped? It's obviously Gilbur who does it... or it might not be... I'm just guessing because you said he does something really bad.

You will just have to wait and see what Gilbur does, and to whom.
Patience, young Padawan.

Ok... I've read it... or to the point of Geraden and Terisa leaving her home world... And What I've learnt has made me, quite frankly, sick.

All three equally.

I picked all three equally. Each was evil in a slightly different way.
Vagel was in it for the sheer joy of power and the perks power brings.
Eremis was a manipulator and lover of control.
Gilbur was the essence of depravity. Though he probably was corrupted by Eremis.
And yes, they were the riders, (in one form).
