I didn't get half-way through it yet, because I was laughing too hard to breath or see.

The reviewer must be a graduate of the Maddox school of humour. He does make some good points, though. His movie concept is pretty clever, too. I wouldn't mind seeing it come to life.

It is funny, but the language is on the raw side, so if that would bother you, be forwarned.

Yeah, just a little raw!

The over-the-topness of it all is what makes it so hilarious! Like that ninja site Foul has in his profile. That doesn't have the language, but it's still over-the-top.

I hate to be a downer, but I thought the humor was rather banal and about what I would expect from someone in Middle School (although perhaps written better).

I don't know, burgs. The concept is certainly Middle School inspired, but any concept can be done well, or poorly. I think this one is done well.
Even if you bring an iPod so you can listen to VH during the Elf parts you’ll take it off because...

Cracks me up!!
And watch out for one nasty word in this one, folks Although it might be edited out? Looks that way when I preview, with **** instead of the F-word.
Someone told me that all of the spider stuff actually happens in the second book in the series, and that they had to tweak some of the stuff that happens in the books to make the movies work. You know what? Good. Books suck. They used to be good back when people didn’t have movies and TV and dressed like Davey Crockett. People also used to ride horses and drink tea, but now we have cars and Sprite. Move the fuck on.

Me too. I must be to old in the head to appreciate it.

Come on; no one in middle school is cool enough to know who Travis Bickle is.

That's a good point. It's still sophomoric as far as I'm concerned...but I can be a bit of a bore.

It's sophomoric to me, too, but I think that was intentional. Uh, I think. It's not wise to analyze "Hobbit-Man: The King Returns" too much. heh.

I know it's intentionally silly, but the constant usage of foul language…etc. Oh well. Different strokes. I’ll stick to Dave Barry.

I just noticed the "elf chick with the bow" references!

I just watched FotR. I cracked up the first time the elf chick with the bow was seen.

Don't worry, Leggy - I love you...
