Chat Check In Thread

Okay, this poor little thread has been through alot so please be gentle. I'm trying to give it new life, because Covenant Jr. And I found out that it actually works. So here it goes...
Last night I had a great conversation with Darth Revan, Dan and Kinslaughterer. And since then I have gone on chat again, and it seems that you never really know when someone is in there or not, despite the little indicator at the bottom of the main discussion page. Because it goes to away, and then logs you off to quickly, so unless you check the indicator every minute, you never know if someone is in chat, but had to step away from the computer for a few minutes.
Example: I was on chat, then went away, Covenant Jr. logged on after seeing my post in the thread, but I wasnt logged in at the time , even though I had the chat window open, I just hadn't replied.
So this way, you know if someone is in chat and ready for discussion.
The way the thread works, is like this. When you come to KevinsWatch and you want to see if anyone is up to chat, come to this thread, leave a message saying you are logged in to chat. And then when you are through waiting for someone, or just through chatting, just leave another message saying that you are through. (Credit for the leaving message goes to Covenant Jr....you little genius you.)
