Something must be done about this.

This sickens me to no end. Can't something be done?

www.bonsaikitten.com/

How would you like to be put inside a tight glass cube FOR WEEKS, being fed by a tube in your mouth? And then when they finally pull you out, your body is forever deformed, having grown to resemble the shape of the container they put you in.

Killing animals for food is one thing. But this? This is totally needless. No animal, if they had a voice, would ask for this to be done to them. It's torture. I don't care if it's an "ancient art" and I "don't know squat about world culture" if I abhor it. Again, it's a totally needless act and torture.

OH no . . . . oh please no. This is f***king sick. Why can't we stop the cruelty to animals?! There are somedays when I just hate humanity. I can understand you stance of misanthropism, Lord Foul.

:LOLS:

And just what should be done, Foul?

It's a hoax, people!

It's GOT to be a hoax. That's just ... wrong.

It IS a hoax - and even an old one.

But I know how you felt.
I got an email petition once (forwarded to me by a friend just before Xmas) where you were supposed to sign against bonsaikitten. It nearly ruined the holidays for me because I couldn't think of anything else, I was so shocked.
But then I was a brave girl and did some internet research...and the holidays were saved.

This taught me a lesson.

Bah! Evil git, Foul!

But what does it say about humanity that several of us believed there could be people who would do this?

Yes, that's what I was thinking just now, Cov.Jr.

I wouldn't be surprised if anything like this happened.

That's the funniest thing I've seen since All Your Base Are Belong To Us! C'mon guys, laugh! Quit looking for a bloody cause and laugh. :haha:

Is it a hoax? Honestly, I didn't know! Before I went to bed last night I was so pissed off about it! I was like, "I'm pretty open-minded, but this is where I DRAW THE LINE!" Duchess told me not to have any nightmares about it, and I was afraid I would!

And yes, matrixman, stuff like this (when it's not a hoax) gets my misanthropic feelings going.

Yeah, I think I heard about this before, and it turned out to be a hoax. So yeah, don't worry about it. It's not someone sick enough to actually do that, but it is someone sick enough to make a fake website about it and get people worked up.-jay

It is *definitely* a hoax, and an old one, as Torrent said. One of my kids got suckered into it a few months ago, and forwarded it to me. It took me about 2 min. of Googling to find out it's not true.

If you think about how sick someone would have to be to post something like this online, just to get their jollies by seeing 1) how many folks would fall for it, and 2) how many folks would then start petition drives, etc., to stop it -- the whole thing makes me mad. :x :x :x

Don't give the sickos the satisfaction of falling for it.

Yes, it is a joke in very poor taste -- I looked at most of the website and it is not indicated anywhere I can see that it is a joke/hoax. :(

But, that's what makes it funny! Sorry. I guess there's a little Z in me.

MM? It's Ur-Vile! I'm using agent smith as my avatar because I'm sick of looking at Darcy.

*shakes head* laughs louder.

I love cats. Have two. Almost kept three more that were abandoned. My wife and I found them good homes.

You just can't trip the kitty wire when you're messing with people. ;)

I've fallen for stuff before, and will again, but this was obviously a joke!

And a superb one at that!

Didn't you see the 'payments accepted online soon'

Lighten up! It is funny, not sick!

I understand. I'd probably laugh, but I've seen sick stuff done to cats, so it's hard for me to lighten up. Sorry.

It's one of those sick jokes, which is why most people find it sick instead of a joke.-jay

eh. To each their own. No animals were harmed in the making of this thread, that's what's important. :)
