"As for evil, all I can say is: consider what Lord Foul, Kasreyn of the Gyre, Master Eremis, Nick Succorso, and Holt Fasner have in common. "
I have my ideas - discuss

All I can think of is that they all like their victims to be aware or partly aware of what is happening and what is being done to them or through them. It's as if the consciousness of the victim inceases their suffering, which increases the pleasure taken from the suffering.

Kasreyn, Nick and Eremis are all about being in control of people. I suppose Foul is too, but in a less tangible manner.

Yes. I'm sure it says more than once that Foul uses people to destroy what they love, and that he likes them to be able to remember what they are and hate what they have become.
Holt is also into controlling people. All people.

They all strive for immortality, only on a different level. Foul - being immortal per se wants to elevate his immortality to a different dimension; for him being imprisoned is a kind of a death. Succorso wants to live forever through the stories told about him and the constant adoration of the women he conquers. Kasreyn simply wants eternal life for life itself. Fasner wants to live so that his empire would not topple without him. Etc, etc

Mmmmmm, I don't see how Eremis fits in then. He wants power certainly, but I never really got the idea that he wanted immortality.
