I like them better now that Hasek is gone.

A disgruntled Buffalo Sabres fan :x :x

They probly won't win the cup again w/o Hasek & Bowman, but they do have some of the best talent

Shouldn't a person who calls himself or herself DEVILSPAWN be a New Jersey fan?
I think our chances of winning the Cup this year depends on how Steve Yzerman recovers from his injury. I have loved the Wings since I was a tiny kid and everyone called them the Dead Wings and the Dead Things. So I hope that the Good Captain (God, he's a first class guy) comes back and leads us on to wonderful things.
I have two words for you, Danlo!
Darren McCarty! :P

I've got 2 words back: Patrick Roy! GOD OF THE NET! (but ever since he mentioned retirement, this year, he's been goofing up ..he'll get it 2gether!)
Still hurting from a couple years back, eh? I do agree the Wings r awesome! Look at how the Wild and Philly have jumped out of the gate this year!

Yeah, you'd expect Philly to be good, but the Wild have me surprised. I was expecting good things from Vancouver this year, too.

Don't forget about my Sabres!!!

After further review, the previous statement is reversed. After watching tonites game v. Ottawa, My Sabres S**k!!! They are circling the toilet bowl on thier way down. Too bad, we'll probly loose the team. They say we need more season ticket holders to get new ownership & keep the team, but with the NHL acting as the owner, they are spending no money to get some marquise(?) players here - thats why no one wants to go & watch - no goal scorers!!!!

That would be really sad. I hate to see cities lose their teams. All of these major leagues in various sports have really got to stop all of this expansion stuff until they get the existing teams financially healthy, IMHO. :(

I still can't believe that we don't have a football team. Darn St. Louis! :x :-x

Hey, most excellent news from Hockeytown tonight! The Good Captain Steve Yzerman is back on skates and is working out with full gear and should be back early in the new year. Go Stevie Wonder!! :D

Even with Legacee out for a while now, Joseph has managed to be so unsurpassable its brought the Wings to the division lead. How long that holds I guess is up to the Blues during the next couple of days, but after that, look out world, here comes Hull on wheels!!! :)

Now that Fleury is back (hopefully he will stay off the sauce), Daze healthy and Thibault doing a good job in the nets; the Hawks can keep up with the Wings. 8)

The Watch caused me to miss going to the Hawks game last night! :?

I ran into my brother-in-law last night after he, his father and another fellow, went to see the Hawks game against the Sharks. He told me that he tried to call me several times thurs. night because he had an extra ticket, but the line was busy.

I asked him why didn't he ask his wife for my cell phone #? He told me he didn't think of that. :x

Anyway, the Hawks played terrible and lost 4-2. But still, they were good seats. :chill:
