What happens when you click on "Watch this topic for replies"? I have never done it so I don't know. Is an email notification sent, or what? I checked the FAQ and didn't see any mention of this.

It should be an E-mail notification sent to you to let you know that a new post was added to the topic. I click it a few times and I recieved E-mail when something new is posted.

It only sends an email for the first new post, and no more until you look at the topic again. If you look at the topic it'll send you a message for the first new post after that, etc, until you click 'stop watching this topic'.

And, yeah, I should have put this question in the Q&A forum, where there is already a topic on email notifications. But I clicked on the forum in a hurry and only later realized my mistake.

I didn't know about the first post info either.
