Ok, so my list might not be as vast as the previous ones (posted by the musical gods, if you will, of KW--Sylvanus and LF), but I am still finding new bands that I like and exploring my musical tastes so here it goes...
Bands that Rule
The Who, the Greatest Rock Band in the World
Pink Floyd, they friggin' rule
The Doors, one of the 60s' best if you ask me
The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's is...awesome
Led Zep
Nirvana, best grunge band imo
Soundgarden
Alice in Chains
STP
the Smashing Pumpkins
Foo Fighters
Zwan, yes I do like Zwan, thank you very much
Foo Fighters
Neil Young, don't have any of his CD's (yet) but he's awesome
the Violent Femmes
Pearl Jam
Weezer, buy the "Blue Album" and Pinkerton--you'll thank me
Green Day, esp Dookie
I have to add:
Sonic Youth, VERY experimental punk-alt band...a lotta instrumentals
