I got these when I tried to change my avatar.

OK. I think I have it sorted out now. Both avatars and the album should work now

Awesome Vain. Incidentally, one of my other forums is having the same problem. I thought it might be me. What did you do to fix it?

Check the permissions of the folders - they should be chmod'ed to 777

Not an issue, so much as a question. I have a couple of pictures I'd like try out as avatars, but they're physically too big. Any suggestions? I tried pasting them into Paint and shrinking them, but they just end up being a small picture in the corner of a big white square. Can the valiant Watchers solve this dilemma?

I expect so. Do you mean the area is too big of the file size? If the former then You'll have to shrink it to 100x100 (I think that's the limit here). If it's the file size then look at what format you've got the picture in...

The white background in Paint is part of the image it saves. You need to reduce the size of that as well, not just the image you paste in.
It's probably better rather than pasting it to open Paint and go File->Open. Then the canvas will be the size of the image automatically. Then you could try the way I do it - Image->Stretch/Skew and set the two percentages for Stretch to a value under 100 (both the same value so you maintain aspect ratio).

Thanks, Murrin. That's the kind of answer I was after 8)
