We usually get it early, but I think they're trying to make the dates as close as possible this time.
btw, does Barnes and Noble exist in the UK? I've never seen one.

My bday is the 10th of October, so it will make a great pressie for me too. About that release date, I don't think I'll take it as gospel until I see it on the official site. :D

I surely hope it is the right date. 8)

I had been planning on going to Chicago for a three day weekend for my birthday. Now, I think I will lock myself in a room with some snacks and my new Donaldson book instead.

wow, I really can't believe that Mr Donaldson is continuing his work after so much time. I was amazed when I heard there might be another set of books coming out. Add that with finding this place; this is a good a day as any.

I can't bear reading hardbacks, darn it, so may have to wait for a while for the p/b, on the other hand...

I hate hardbacks too, but i'm right on the edge of deciding that it wouldn't be too bad as long as I don't get half the series in one form and the rest another (which would most likely happen if I got the first couple in paperback - I'd get to book two and be unable to wait for book 3).

There is absolutely no way I could ever wait for the PB. I have the Chrons in both HC and PB...the HC's I leave in our library. But, my poor PB's are falling apart! :(

Amazon also has it for pre-order. $18.33, same release date. :)

Just by the bye, for SRD's rightpondian readers, you can also pre-order Runes at W.H. Smith:

www.whsmith.co.uk/whs/go.asp?ISBN=0575075988&DB=220

The price, however, is ghastly — £20.

My paperbacks are due to be replaced (for the third time)
and I keep my hardcovers in my bookshelf also.
(Not quite large enough to say "library".)

Amazon sounds like the better way to go, since Barnes & Noble told
me that the price will be $26.95!
Add $3.00 shipping if I want it sent directly to my house.
(However, I live right by a B&N bookstore, so there is no need for that.)

hehe. Well we have a huge family/den/music/library room in our house. One whole wall is nothing but huge glass doored shelves. So I call it the "library". :grinlove:

Lucky. I only have two large shelves, and they were filled the day they were put up :/

My hubby Russ had them built into the wall when we had the house built. I have a rather large collection of books, heaven help us if we ever decide to move!! We would need a truck just for the books. :D
